An efficient and effective office secretary builds good image of an organization and proves to be an asset to his/her supervisor. Information technology has brought about a paradigm shift in office working and the skills required by office secretaries and administrative assistants. Decision makers are overloaded by information and data so they need skillfully trained to stream line the flow of information. The more skills they have, the more time their organizational heads will save and the organization as a whole will become more effective and professional. Carlina Patuwo

Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan bidang sekretaris di Akademi Sekretaris/ Lembaga Pendidikan Kejuruan Tarakanita (Aksek/LPK Tarakanita), beliau memulai karier sebagai sekretaris Managing Director perusahaan pabrik pipa di Jakarta. Setelah 11 tahun sebagai Executive Secretary, Sales Coordinator, Liason Officer, dan Personal Assistant di berbagai perusahaan multinasional dan perusahaan patungan asing, dan 12 tahun sebagai Corporate Secretary, Administration Manager, Human Resources dan Training Manager di berbagai perusahaan patungan Asuransi dan Perbankan, beliau akhirnya berhenti bekerja. Jabatan terakhir sebagai HR Manager & Administration Manager pada suatu bank patungan Singapore di Jakarta selama 6.5 tahun. Sejak tahun 2005, beliau mendirikan perusahaan konsultan, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang HR Consultancy, Executive Search, dan Learning & Development; Saat ini beliau dikenal sebagai fasilitator untuk bidang services, personality development, communication, secretarial, dan administrative skills sejak tahun 1999. Dalam pengalaman bekerja selama 20 tahun, menjadikan beliau menjadi expert dalam pekerjaannya, dan sejak tahun 2005, beliau tertarik pada bidang trainer dan telah banyak memberikan pelatihan kepada ribuan peserta dan ratusan perusahaan.

Beliau sangat sering menjadi pembicara pada berbagai seminar/conference, dan juga sering diundang oleh berbagai perusahaan, selain menjadi trainer pada lembaga pelatihan lain, beliau juga menjadi Associate Trainer.
